Hand carved in wood, then hand painted by a folk artist Wlodzimierz. Wooden toys have been made and loved for centuries across the globe. Birds, horses, cars, spinning dancers, just to name a few, have a long tradition in folk culture in Poland. Simple and beautiful, they were hand carved in local wood using traditional tools, then hand painted in bright colours and decorated with folk
