The inner plastic headbands have quite a bit of stretch to them (but please be careful not to stretch them any further than the average adult head size as this could cause the headband to snap) so will fit a wide range of head sizes from child to adult with the cosy crochet covering providing a nice cushion so the headband wont dig in ^_^
