Straps in those days were nice meaty pieces of leather that were cut and buckled together with no backing. We have used our thick, supple Bomber Pilot leather to re create this strap. It doesn't allow for a lot of adjustability, so we prefer to create these custom for the wearer. This strap is cut to 2. 75 inches at the wide part of the strap and we have added snaps to the thinner
