The first effect can play into the exhaust effect, being able to take someone out in the late stages of the game
There is a case to be made that were getting a bit fatigued on the rate of cards coming out, and that the average player doesnt have money to spend on these
Now, it works well alongside cards like Bolt Hound, which makes all plant tokens attack with +1 damage, and Return of the Wildspeaker, which gives all non-human creatures +3/+3
Cast it without paying its mana cost or put it into your hand
This being said, Ultimate Masters has a lot of Modern, Legacy, and Commander staples that command a heavy premium in foil form, doubly so thanks to some exciting first-time foil cards
You can keep bringing it back throughout the game, though it costs more mana each time
