There's an obvious reason why these cards have increased in value - Edge of Eternities has a new Sliver card, an artifact named Thrumming Hivepool that spits out Sliver tokens (and reimagines them as xenomorph-like creatures, a brilliantly subtle homage)

Lands don't cost any mana, but you can usually only play one a turn, and like other MTG card types, you can only play them at Sorcery speed

I just think this is such a neat design, as you can basically create an incredible, multiplicative army by casting a few spells
