With Mayael, you can pay six mana to take a look at the top five cards of your deck, taking a creature with a power of five or more and putting it directly into play

Both had converted Mana costs of six and both were flyers, but the Mahamoti Djinn was a 5/6, where as the Shivan Dragon was a 5/5, although the latter was pumpable, you could still kill one with the other

But I have a soft spot for it

The Ooze exiles cards repeatedly on demand and grows into a threat while doing so, but it requires a significant mana investment, especially if you're nomnom'ing multiple cards

Its token production pairs perfectly with merfolk lords to create a board that goes very wide, but also pretty tall since more merfolk makes Namor larger
