Darksteel Mutation + Song of the Dryads Spot removal is fine enough, so not too much disrespect to another card reprinted in this set, Path to Exile, but it puts you a card down against the other two players at the table
Im looking for many of the same virtues Id want in a good Commander deck: a reasonably low curve (or the ramp to support a high one), access to interaction and card draw, a clearly defined game plan, and achievable win conditionsall the things I consider vital to construct a deck that consistently plays good games of Magic, and maybe even wins a few
You will have to deal with Balduvian Hordes and Frenzied Goblins
If you need more bodies, youll make a token, if you need more cards wellyoull give up a rat or something to get it, and if youve got a good board state, you can give your whole board menace to go after your opponent
