If another effect (or effects) modifies how much damage a source you control would deal while you have deliriumby preventing some of it, for examplethe player being dealt damage or the controller of the permanent being dealt damage chooses the order in which any such effects apply
Pitiless Carnage This slot used to be Reprocess, but Pitiless Carnage is a strict upgrade on effect alone, let alone the plot alternative
Though this is only a one off, it can really help to turn your luck around, as having a choice of card to put in your hand, as well as knowing which two cards wont be coming up, can be invaluable
Channel allows you to discard cards for a cost to get some of their effect
