The Magic: The Gathering Final Fantasy sets don't come out for a few weeks yet, but here at PAX East 2025 in Boston, I managed to get my first piece of the MTG x FF set with a surprise find at the official Wizards of the Coast booth

Every single color had three mana "Grey Ogres" (2/2's for three mana) and four mana "Hill Giants" (3/3's for four mana)

Its second ability makes a great mana dump in the latter half of EDH games: The conditional modified attacker stipulation is easy enough to satisfy, so 5 mana for a 5/5 flier is a great price

With a mana value of 5, the Sorcery would certainly trigger Yshtolas damage ping to opponents and healing for yourself
