In that context, rather than wasting time, spending an extra $15 or so could be worth it

If the copied creature is copying something else, then Kimahri becomes a copy of whatever that creature is copying, with the listed exceptions

Two mana is certainly affordable, but I really dont know when Id want to play this

Those cards were indeed released shortly before Base set

Outside of that it's not very relevant, but it's a safe bet for dedicated zombie commanders since it can drop down for 1 mana and tap your team for a bunch of cards
