This card has the potential to be a real engine early in games, and I can see it being quite desirable as a result, especially in low-cost aggressive decks

The latter effect is a nice sweetener but it is not the primary reason you play such cards

We decided that 42 new cards per deck would give us enough flexibility to create whatever cards we needed to, and we could fill out the remainder of each deck with reprints

Since you have two specific creature types, you can take the deck into a kindred direction too, focusing one or both creature types since theres a fair amount of support for either of them
