It has a silver collar which is hallmarked Birmingham 1893 and has the silversmith's mark "G & J Z." for ZairThe collar has many small dents and dings and is engraved " TJJ". The long stock or shaft is golden brown malacca cane with its characteristic "tear drop" cross section.. There are four dark ( possibly scorch) marks on the shaft. It has a replacement leather open keeper or loop
