A sunrise view of Hallett Peak at Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park

I decided to have a little fun outside in all the snow we had along with some sunny weather and do some photography

I focused my attention on the abundance of wildflowers in this prairie landscape scene

Western redcedar and sitka spruce give way to the coast redwoods in the South Coast landscape

composed the common milkweed along with the sunrise in frame and began photographing

Made up of buttes, pinnacles, spires and a wide expanse of mixed grasses. Many species inhabit this area including buffalo, pronghorn, mule deer, white tailed deer, prairie dog, hawks, eagles and many others. (594 560)
