A recurring problem with Magic: The Gatherings Secret Lair drops, in recent times especially, is that the cards in each drop arent worth the $30 asking price

As I say, there's a lot going on for a fairly high cost, and I struggle to see this card seeing too much play given the setup required to cast it for its Shift cost, especially in Ruby & Steel decks which typically skew far more aggressive

The play is fun, rewarding, and pretty consistent if you use your draw cards

I would much rather use another card draw spell to get me cards

Tiered spells are ones with options to beef them up like kicker
