The only reason its not rated higher is that dreaded living until your next turn clause can be tricky to pull off when everyone wants to make sure that doesnt happen
Crucible of Worlds One might argue that Crucible of Worlds and the more vulnerable Ramunap Excavator do much less than Conduit of Worlds, which is hard to argue with
With that in mind, its likely best to view this card as a form of card advantage as opposed to a hatebear that will keep your opponents in check
