Likewise, it also works really well in counters decks (like my Hamza, Guardian of Arashin deck), as the cost to prevent your draw will increase as Esper Sentinel gets bigger and bigger, easily making it more costly to pay for than even Rhystic Study
This card was so eminently strong when it was legal in Standard that it had to be banned, as there was simply no downside for any midrange deck that featured the color red to include it
Even the most well-shuffled deck will eventually mill two lands or two creatures when those are the most numerous cards in the deck, so the length of this covenant is limited
