Hitting a Necropotence into a Repay in Kind and having a Leechridden Swamp out is awesome, which ironically was the first win it got at my local pub game, and a win con I hadn't even thought about until I saw it in my hand
It is generally better than Evolving Wilds or Terramorphic Expanse in a Halfling deck because it offers the same basic-land search effect plus cycling utility, but stronger fixing lands such as Fabled Passage, Prismatic Vista, fetch lands, or even Path of Ancestry in a dedicated tribal deck are usually preferable if your budget allows
