Overall, Planar Portal is a slow, value-oriented political deck with lots of card and mana generation to support its weaker color identity.

This is the best way to sneak those 5-mana goblins into play without wasting a whole turns worth of mana casting them

and also think that, even if Standard lands in a place where the deck isnt well-positioned, theres still a lot to learn from this deck about snow decks in general that can be applied elsewhere

As this deck aims to grind, I think the Maniac fits my desired playstyle more than the Oracle
