First things first, despite its prevalence in popular culture, it may be that Pokmon is something that has never truly caught your attention
Not 2x the pack pull rate (its still 1:3) but they essentially made ex pulls as common as a Holo pull (except dragon uses one of the slots an ex would get with a secret rare, but youd probably be fine pulling a secret rare Id guess) Not sure if you were aware of that, or if you were its just for the lurkers to be aware of too
Alayna told us last year that this one had to be re-sketched because the feedback from the Art Director was that it was too mountainous. Alayna couldnt remember exactly whether she or the Art Director decided the single tree should be replaced with an entire forest
Mana Drain Mana Drain is a definite standout among the best blue cards MTG has ever released simply because its a counterspell that turns defense into an explosive mana advantage on the next turn
For any other TCG, deprioritising battles would seem absurd, but the Pokmon TCG cornered the collection aspect early in its tenure and has remained a leader in foil treatments, alternate art versions and, frankly, some of the best looking cardboard out there
