It allows the player to tap creatures to put a number of charge counters equal to those creatures' power onto the permanent with station

This doesn't mean, by the way, that I won't listen to others or that I can't have my mind changed, but if I don't hear evidence to sway me from my belief, I'll stick to them like Super Glue

You can put the blight counters on your own lands and use this to ramp up into something silly, like Bahamut, but I dont think that really factors in here

But why this card isnt played at all in Modern I cant barely begin to understand

Being an enchantment itself is a real advantage here
