2014-11-24 Any time you have priority, you may turn a manifested creature face up by revealing that it's a creature card (ignoring any copy effects or type-changing effects that might be applying to it) and paying its mana cost
The problem is they present a certain awkwardness by doing nearly nothing without a Commander
Additionally, if you have an item deck, you can pay one less ink for any Inventor character in your hand while shes on the table with a host of items
It fits well in a UB control shell filled with removal or mill effects
Anyway, I used this card in a green-white auras deck, it wears pants well and if you have any way to put an aura on it (Spellbook Vendor, hi, Lord Skitter's Blessing, hi, Witch's Mark, hiiiii) it was always a great early drop
