Speaking of, something like Muddle the Mixture can work as another counter spell or a tutor for your many 2 drops
I personally use them to keep my energy cards separate from my trainers, and Pokmon cards like Clefairy from the others, making it much easier to find what I need later
For example, if the exiled card is a land card, you may play it only during your main phase while the stack is empty and only if you have an available land play remaining.
In any case, I always enjoyed the idea of Prize-manipulating effects, and to my surprise there have been just a few cards that have Prize switching effects
