Universes Beyond brings the gameplay of Magic: The Gathering to other fan-favorite worlds, celebrating each with gorgeous new art and thematic game mechanics
The first is a Legendary Creature and Rat Ninja - Nashi, Moon Sage's Scion: We asked the team at Wizards of the Coast a little more about both this card specifically and the Nezumi (Kamigawa's anthropomorphic rats), as well as the theme as a whole
Ticking up in loyalty whenever your creatures die, Lolth has good survivability and the chance to fire off an ultimate ability the turn it enters
I'm not sure there is any possible Secret Lair drop in all of Magic that would generate as much revenue for Wizards , and this doesn't even include the number of Masters sets Wizards could sell with cards like Underground Sea in the dual-land slot
I've found them rather reliable myself, if not ideal in tempo terms
Frenetic Efreet was annoying because of how frequently you had to flip coins (often determining the outcome of the match) and how all or nothing flips could be (Bolting one and having them win the flip was extremely frustrating, as it felt like your play was worthless)
