Ellis Ceramics was a pottery set up by Dagmar and Miloslav Kratochvil in Abbotsford, Melbourne, in 1953 in their backyard. From there they moved to a larger factory in Nicholson Street, Melbourne where they remained until the factory closed in the late 1970s.
