Horseshoe Hinges, Hand Forged hand_made let me knowI got the idea to make these horseshoe hinges while visiting some historic early 1800s log cabins in the Great Smokey Mountains of North Carolina. They had these on the doors of the homes and their log out buildings. These hinges I forged out of old horseshoes. They are very strong and will last a long time. I suggest lubricating the action of the hinges with some lard like the old timers would have. Whether you're a horse lover, want some period
