Jonas Wood: Aechmea Bromeliad Poster Dorothea Lange I was ushering in banalityJonas Wood produced this vivid twenty seven color lithograph with Cirrus Editions in 2022. He was inspired by posters of plants found in Los Angeles nurseries, and each of the vibrant bromeliad cultivars in the print is individually drawn and labeled. As the artist explains, I wanted the plants to have a loosely hand drawn vibe inside a kind of hard edge, computer generated grid. I was looking at some Picasso prints and liked how the lithographic
