Framed in Tasmanian oak natural raw timber float (shadow box) style frame. I love the pop of colour and fragrance that appears in my garden when mid Summer has arrived. This painting expresses the joy of seeing fresh budding flowers. I've used the technique of layering paint to reveal both the contrasting and complementary colours underneath.
