dark-fruited Burgundy opulence: sappy black cherry
The sweetness comes forth aromatically with layers of apricot and honeydew
500m in the province of San Juan
The low dosage makes it extra brut but that doesn’t come across as it has so much fruit and ripeness mixed with lees character that builds up to some light custard layering
a real explosion of fruity aromas with every sip to feel like you're on holiday all year round
Henri Bonneau Chateauneuf-du-Pape Reserve des Celestins, Rhone, France 2017 Weingut Carl Loewen dark-fruited Burgundy opulence: sappy blackThe color is dark ruby, slightly cloudy. The nose is very intense, with notes of cherry cherry, blood orange, grapefruit, faded rose petals, violet and leather. The palate is fresh and concentrated, the tannins are very powerful but already melted and carried by a beautiful acidity, the length of the finish is incalculable and very smoky.
