"Chanson De Nuit" begins and ends with a rich tune from the Alto Flute, using its full range, before the C flutes take up the tunes in the middle section. The possibly more famous "Chanson De Matin" is lighter in mood, with the whole quartet enjoying moments of light and shade. A perfect pair of pieces for a recital. Grading: 6
