Description

If you watch my YouTube flintknapping videos than you've seen me use a scrunched often when finishing points

This point is made of heat treated Coastal plains chert

These mix material preform groups are a great way to knapp a variety of great materials and shapes Including Agates

These polished Springbok horns make incredibly beautiful knife handles especially when an end cap is added

There is several videos on my YouTube channel Danny Collins Lithics & Leather showing knapping these point specific preforms

Humboldt Basal Notch, Mahogany Obsidian Blade, Obsidian Arrowhead / Spear Point rock tumbing If you watch my YouTubeThis is a modern spear point arrowhead that was knapped by yours truly on video. Mahogany Obsidian comes from several places in the world but this particular piece came from Glass Buttes Oregon. Obsidian was widely used by ancient people and was almost exclusively used by some South American tribes. It measures 4 1 2" in length
