Strekov 1075 Nigori (Welschriesling) 2021 (750ml) Palo Cortado Papa’s Block in Russian RiverHand harvested and destemmed Welshriesling fermented in 300 liter open top barrels. Elevage takes place in the same barrels for about 4 months during which time battonage is performed just three times. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered with a small addition of sulfur. Nigori refers to the cloudy appearance. The sediment and lees remain in the bottle. Zsolt St?, or affectionately know as Zsolty, farms 12 hectares close to the village Strekov.
