Hawaii Humuhumunukunukuapua'a Street Signs Created for the United StatesThe official state fish, for short you can call it the "humumumu". This translates to "fish that grunts like a pig" the sound the fish makes when caught or cornered. It is in the tiger fish family. Often joked that the name is longer than the fish.
