Antique Japanese 1pc Tansu Chest Taisho Era c1920's Ishodansu Kiri Wood 37" Inkan Diameter =This Taisho era one piece clothing chest or Ishodansu was originally the top part of a three piece tansu. In all there are 3 drawers and a cabinet with sliding doors. Half of the interior cabinet is spanned by a shelf. Bronze hardware pulls with Crane & Turtle motif lock plates. Custom iron base is about 7" high and brings the piece up to a convenient 27". Locally made by a welding artist that we have worked with for over 20 years. Legs have a subtle
