Antique Japanese Meiji Era c1800's Bamboo Kago Ikebana Basket 16"H Box 19th centuryThis is an antique Japanese Kago basket from the Meiji era or late 1800's. Used in Ikebana flower arranging. Very intricately made with woven split bamboo. it includes a bamboo insert. It has been in storage for many decades and with the exception of a few broken bits of bamboo remains in good condition. It measures about Height = 16" (41cm) Diameter = 10" (25cm)
